The HOT KNIFE Slitter Rewinder, or HSR, is designed to be a rugged machine built to handle the day-to-day production for materials requiring a sealed edge.   The design keeps the web path as short as possible to avoid any contaminants, scratching, or wrinkles that can be introduced to the web when traveling over numerous idler rollers. The HSR is a large enough machine to include the capacity for additional features such as laminating, lay-on rollers, and edge guiding.  The HSR offers a wide range of options from additional slitting methods, different size shafting, roll widths to 96", and any other options that are needed for specific materials. The HSR machine has been configured to run various different materials from textiles, ribbon stock, sail cloth, and non-wovens.

• 24" Diameter Unwind Roll - Larger capacity available
• 18" Diameter Duplex Rewind - Larger capacity available
• Widths range from 12" to 96"
• Speed/Tension Capacity:  300 FPM* @ 2 pli 
• Constant speed machine maintained by driven nip roller
